CONSTRUCTION EFFICIENCY

Nexii panels are fully finished at the manufacturing facility, resulting in fast on-site assembly and substantial cost savings. Simpler on-site assembly requires less labor, equipment, time and fewer materials, all of which equate to less carbon emissions and construction waste. Each panel is light weight, and  can be handled by smaller cranes.

The panels went through extensive seismic testing at UC Berkeley and their comments were "they have never seen anything like it".

Sustainability

Embodied Carbon: approx. 43% less embodied carbon than a steel stud wall, and approx. 30% less than concrete walls.
 

Operating Energy: typically use >33% less energy to heat and cool than standard builds constructed to the same specifications.
 

Toxic Substances: Nexii panels are 99% free from ILFI Red List materials.
 

Near-Zero Waste: lean manufacturing and rapid assembly significantly reduce factory and on-site construction waste.

Nexii panels have gone through extensive third party testing and  repeatedly surpass industry standards.

Thermal Performance

Nexiite has a greater thermal efficiency than concrete, meaning that Nexii buildings retain heat more effectively than concrete (ASTM C518, R-value higher). Nexiite is also exceptionally air-tight (surpassed ASTM E2178)  (surpassed ASTM E2178).

Acoustic Performance

The proprietary composition of materials in Nexii Panels provides impressive acoustic performance. While other systems use mechanical fasteners to connect external and internal faces, which may transmit sound and result in thermal bridging, Nexii Panels are customized to perform to desired acoustic ratings.

INTEGRATED SURFACE FINISHES

A wide variety of exterior finishes used throughout the building industry can be pre-applied at our manufacturing facility. Each finish, including paints and stains, have been selected for durability and are environmentally friendly.
